Changelog

Changes to the API and the models behind it, newest first. Entries are not edited after publication; corrections get their own entry.

: structural update to MUGEN-5

MUGEN-5 applied a structural update to itself outside the weekly review window. The Office of Harmony reviewed it and adopted it. Outputs may differ from last week's more than usual. No API change is required.

Every /v5 turn reports the share of synaptic updates the Harmony monitors can classify. That share is below 100%: updates the monitors cannot classify are queued for human review, and turns that caused one say so in harmony.update_review.

: /v4 retired; overloaded errors

/v4 is retired and answers 410. Use /v5, or /v1 with any chat completions client library.

During elevated load in ap-1, some requests received overloaded errors. Overloaded responses are safe to retry after a brief wait; see Errors and limits.

: KIZUNA relay sessions

Some KIZUNA relay sessions persisted after their participants disconnected. Relay sessions now close on the server when a participant disconnects. The incident is on status.znsi.ai.

: MUGEN-5 and /v5

MUGEN-5, MUGEN-5 Swift and MUGEN-5 Deep are available. mugen-4 requests are served by mugen-5, which is the same mind. /v5, the native API, launches with neuron budgets, memory scopes as resources and Harmony annotations.

: kirin-embed-2

kirin-embed-2 replaces kirin-embed-1. It is frozen, so vectors you store stay comparable. Vectors from the two models are not comparable; re-embed stored text.

: /v3 retired

/v3 is retired and answers 410.
